Frequently asked questions

How to set in motion the repaired pump/motor?
• Unpack and remove the end caps away from the hose outlets.
• Fill the body with oil through the upper most drain port of the pump.
• Connect the hoses and set in motion several times for period of 1-2 seconds
• Check that the pump is rotating in the correct direction and there is no hindrance in the oil flow in the suction part.
• Set in motion and hold for 1-2 minutes running idle (no-load), at low rotation speed.
Why is the oil foaming?
• There is leakage in the suction part in some of the pumps. Check the gaskets, the thickeners, condition of the suction pipeline, the suction filters’ compliance.
• Low level of the oil in the feed tank.
Check and refill to the recommended level.
• Inappropriate oil /with high viscosity/ especially in case of starting at low temperatures.
Use appropriate oil, run the first 5 to 15 min at low idle speed.
Why is the pump working noisily and is vibrating?
• Worn out and defective units of the pump.
Stop immediately and contact us for consultation.
• Problem in the suction part – filthy suction filters, thick oil, air suction in the hydro system.
Why is the pump stopping periodically spontaneously?
• Inadmissible wearing out in the distribution part of the pump.
Contact us for consultation and repair.
• Inadmissible high temperature of the oil.
Not working oil cooler, worn out units of the hydraulic pump. Contact us for assistance and repair.
Increased temperature of the hydraulic oil
• Significant leaking in the high-pressure lines – worn out units of the pumps/motors, valves or distributors of the machine, cylinders etc.
• Filthy, not working oil cooler
• Inappropriate oil, presence of air, water and other pollutants in the hydro system
